Marijuana smokers claim it's no different to alcohol and that keeping it illegal forces otherwise law abiding citizens to deal with criminals and drug dealers. And then there's the cost of prosecuting users for possession...
Others say that marijuana is a dangerous gateway drug and that while alcohol is legal, society doesn't need more legal drugs!
